LRA Extra - The Wind Rises (Kaze Tachinu)

Even though we skipped this week for our usual LRA Show gathering, we still recorded another episode for the GOTDead podcast where we discuss the latest episodes for The Walking Dead. However, after recording this weeks episode, both James and myself stayed on a little after to talk about The Wind Rises, the latest film from Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli. I had just caught the film before it's limited run in L.A. was over and despite James already talking about it on our last episode, we ended up talking about it some more here. LRA Extra - Summer Movie Draft 2012

Welcome to The LRA Show's first annual Summer Movie Draft! The way the draft works is that each of us, Brian, James and myself, are allotted a certain amount of credits (or cash) to vote on each movie being released between the first week of May and the last week of August. Which ever movies we acquire are added to our collection. At the end of the summer movie season we will tally the "total domestic gross" of each film in our respective collections and whichever person has the greatest gross total FROM ALL THEIR FILMS COMBINED will be declared the winner. This episode comprises only of the voting portion of the draft and then at the end of summer we will have another episode where we will declare the winner. Lastly we would like to give a shout out to the guys and gals over at NSFW for playing the game and making us aware of its awesomeness. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed doing it and stayed tuned for our summer movie wrap up episode coming in September for this years winner. LRA Extra - Game of Thrones Season 1

Welcome to the bonus or EXTRA episode of The LRA Show where we talk shop about the entire first season of the new HBO series Game of Thrones. We cover everything from the very first episode to the season finale with some insights on our favorite moments and/or characters from the series in general. While both Brian and myself are both huge fans of the show we do unfortunately stumble from time to time and hope you can forgive our few moments of backtracking and how badly we butcher some of the character's names (watch for the Jedi Knight reference). And this should go without saying but just in case I would like to mention that this episode contains heavy spoilers for the entire season of Game of Thrones and if you are behind on the show or have not even begun to watch it yet we highly suggest that you stay away until you are either further into the series (we break everything down by episodes and discuss them in the order that they aired) or have finished it.
