We find ourselves back down to a two man crew this week as we discuss the new ape apocalypse film Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Amongst our glowing praise for the surprisingly good simian summer film you will also find me giving my thoughts on the new to blu-ray releases Your Highness and Paul and our conjectures on where we think the Planet of the Apes franchise may be heading based on its legacy as well as this newest entry into the franchise.
